The benchmark of the action-adventure games on next-gen consoles lands for the first time on your iPhone and iPod Touch.
**IGN: “Assassin’s Creed looks fantastic. This is a console game for your iPhone that sacrifices very little.”
**MacWorld: “One of the most ambitious titles for the iPhone yet. The game takes several hours to complete (think 6-10+) and is therefore one of the most lengthy (and challenging) iPhone games I’ve played.”
**Pocket Gamer Silver Award: “Honed from an earlier release, this much improved version cuts through control problems with impressive, varied gameplay for a rousing and wholly worthwhile adventure.”
Storyline
Jerusalem, 1191 AD. The Third Crusade between the Crusaders and Saracens is tearing the Holy Land apart.
You are Altaïr, a Master Assassin sent by the Order of the Assassins on a quest to find “The Chalice”, an object of such power that it can end the Crusades, depending on which camp owns it. Steal The Chalice from the Templars before someone offers them the right price for it.
The fate of the Holy Land depends on you…
Great scoop: images of the iPhone 4G!
I managed to get hold of the images in preview

1. Connect the iPhone to your computer, close iTunes and click on “Make It Rain” by blackra1n.
2. When the iPhone crashes in recovery mode, and blackra1n remains in “running”, do not close BLACKRA1N and turn off the phone by clicking on Home + Power.
3. The program will tell you that the operation of Jailbreak has been completed but in reality it is not. At this point, then:
Close Blackra1n;
Re-open Blackra1n;
Click on the Make it Rain
Turn on your phone
The program should recognize the iPhone and completing the Jailbreak.
f0recast is a tool for Windows that will check your iPods and iPhones to determine whether it is tethered, or unlockable (iPhone Only). It is just a real simple app for users who are confused about their device being tethered or able to unlock. It even tells iPhone user’s their Boot loader, so if you are an iPhone 3G user with the 5.8 Bootloader, it will notify you that you can downgrade your baseband if you wish to unlock. Download the app from here
There is a story that could break the eggs in the basket for those who have planning to buy an iPhone last generation. It seems that the new version of bootrom installed on the latest iPhone 3GS product is no longer vulnerable to the flaw that allowedrun the jailbreak. At least for now.
The Dev Team confirms that the new bootrom exists, code iBoot-359.3.2, which at present can not be used the old procedures (the “24kpwn exploit”) to force the installation of unauthorized software. Even the recent application issued by Geohot, that Blackra1n able run the jailbreak on all Apple devices, ceases to work in his presence.
The hopes of forcing the locks of Cupertino, however, are still alive and well, and the next move is in the hands of hackers. One to zero for Apple, and ball in the center.
