Apple has just released iOS 4.3.5 for iPhone (GSM only), iPad and iPod Touch users as well as iOS 4.2.10 for Verizon (CDMA) iPhone users! If you’re still on 4.3.3 and you’re Jailbroken with JailbreakMe then do not update because this will cause you to lose your untethered Jailbreak! However, if you’re on 4.3.4 and you feel the need to upgrade then you can do so because you can still get a tethered Jailbreak.

Ongoing discussions over at Apple Support Communities  reveal there might still be some issues with the newest iOS from Apple, despite the company’s attempts to patch the software up last week. Recently updated to version 4.3.3 with the main goal to adjust location-tracking, iOS appears to be suffering from connectivity issues now.

iOS 5 Beta 3

Apple has recently seeded iOS 5 Beta 3 build to developers. It seems that the company is all set to release the iOS 5 final in the September but the date is not known yet. It is expected that Apple will hold an event in September to unveil the future of next generation iPod touch along with the announcement of iPhone 5 and an iPad HD. Usually, Apple release not more than 5 builds of a developer version. So, it may happen that the next build, that is, iOS 5 Beta 4 will be released in August.

Chris Whitmore, an economic analyst at Deutsche Bank, expects that Apple will launch at the same time the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S . This expert of the smartphone market, in an interview with Fortune magazine, says that the two iPhones will be presented after the  Summer.

iPad 2 Jailbreak

The files which are meant to be uploaded on JailBreakMe.com to jailbreak the iPad 2 have been leaked again. This time Ryan Vanniekerk has been able to find these migrated system files which were earlier moved to another server. It is expected that it is another kind of dictionary attack that has made them available for the normal user. As the JailBreak is in beta, these files are buggy, uncompleted and may cause issues if you try to JailBreak your iPad 2.

JailBreakMe site has been updated again. It seems that our report about the release of iPad 2 JailBreak will turn out to be true soon. Unlike previous changes where he tried to give hints on the upcoming JailBreak, Comex has updated it with a unique Apple style. We already inquired you that @comex is working on the iPad 2 JailBreak and the recent changes on his website are the live examples that something big is to arrive soon. Today, a video has been posted on youtube which depicts that the JailBreakMe 3.0 has been leaked prior to the public release. It means that this version of JailBreakMe, which is assumed to be JailBreakMe 3.0 for iOS 4.3.3 is capable of JailBreaking your iPad 2 in the beta version itself. This is meant to be the developer version which could still have some bugs to be fixed.

Firstly the leak of the iPad 2 JailBreak by a beta tester ‘MultiMediaWill’ and then the sudden appearance of JailBreakMe.com for sale has put up many questions infront of us. Is comex is actually working on the iPad 2 JailBreak? If the current screenshot from the frequent mail replies between Comex & MultiMediaWill is to be believed then Comex has not closed the JailBreakMe project yet.
